Ingredients
- One 8" or 9" baked pie shell
- 1 quart strawberries
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3/4 cup sugar
- One 3 oz. package strawberry gelatin
- Whipped Cream or Cool Whip for topping
Preparation
Step 1
Slice strawberries and pat dry with paper towels. Spread strawberries in cool baked pie shell.
Combine water, cornstarch and sugar in pan. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes until mixture is clear and thick. Remove from heat and add strawberry gelatin, stir until dissolved. While still hot, pour evenly over strawberries. Chill, serve with whipped cream or Cool Whip.
