Bacon Quiche

Ingredients

  • 12 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 1 C shredded swiss cheese
  • 1/2 C minced onion
  • 1 9" pie crust
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 C whipping cream or light cream
  • 3/4 t salt
  • 1/4 t sugar
  • 1/8 t cayenne
  • Optional ingredients: ham, green pepper, shrimp, mushroom, jack cheese

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 425
Sprinkle bacon, cheese, onion in frozen pie shell

Beat eggs slightly and add in remaining ingredients and cream mixture

Pour cream mixture into shell

Bake 15 minutes

Reduce oven temp to 300 and bake 30 longer until knife inserted 1" from edge comes clean.

Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
