Mai Tai Cocktail
By Foodiewife
This iconic Hawaiian cocktail became one of our favorite drinks while we visited Maui. There are several versions-- some with pre-made Mai Tai mix, some made with only lime juice. We liked this version, which a bartender shared with us. The "secret" ingredient is orange juice, which is an almond flavored syrup. He used "POG" juice (pineapple, orange, guava), which is hard to find where we live. I've found that a blend of fresh pineapple and orange juice works great, too.
