Stuffed Mushrooms Rich

Ingredients

  • 10 slices bacon, fried and crumbled
  • 2-12 oz. pkg. button mushrooms
  • 1 C minced onion
  • 2 T butter
  • 1/4 t salt, pepper and garlic granulated
  • 3 slices white bread, broken into soft crumbs
  • 2 C sharp cheddar cheese grated

Preparation

Step 1

Lightly rinse mushrooms. Break stems from caps and put caps on micro safe plate wrapped in plastic wrap. Mince stems and heat w/butter over med heat. Saute' about 5".add spices. Prepare bread in processor. Turn onion mix to low add crumbs, bacon and chedar to mix and continue until cheese melts.
Remove caps from fridge and using a teaspoon stuff the mushrooms, mounding fairly high. Microwave for 3-5" on high or oven bake 375 for 20-25"
