Onion Tomato Chutney

Ingredients
- 1 onion medium size
- 3-4 tomatoes
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder
- A pinch of asafoetida
- 1/2 tsp mustard seeds
- 4-5 curry leaves
- 1 tsp oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- Water as required
- Salt to taste
Preparation
Step 1
1. blanch tomatoes in hot water, peal & chop them roughly.
2. Make a fine paste of onion.
3. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, when crackle, add curry leaves,
onion paste, cook it for some time.
4. Now add red chili powder, asafoetida and roughly chopped tomato.
5. Add salt, sugar & water as required mix well .
6. Cook on medium flame for 4-5 mins or until the chutney gets the desired
consistency.
7. Serve with any breakfast or snack dish.
