Beef Roast (Slow Cooker)

Very tender roast. I cut recipe in half for just the two of us.

Ingredients
- Marinade:
- 4-5 lb Pot Roast
- 1 Can Coke
- 1 C Beef Broth (1 tsp Beef Bouillon mixed with 1 C Boiling water)
- 1/3 C Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 T Olive Oil
- 4 Cloves Minced Garlic
Preparation
Step 1
Rinse roast under cold water and pat dry.
Seal in Bag covered with marinade. Marinade at least 12 hours, turning over after 6 hours.
Remove roast from marinade and place in Slow Cooker. Pour Coke over roast. Slow cook on high approx 6 hours.
Make a Gravy and Serve as open face sandwich covered with Gravy.
Or make Au Jus:
1/4 C Juice from slow cooker with 1 1/2 T flour (bring to boil, stirring constantly), add
2 Cups Beef Broth (I use bouillon in hot water). Boil to desired consistency.
