Prasorizo - Greek Leek Rissoto

Ingredients

  • 2 Leeks, chopped
  • 1 Large Brown Onion, chopped
  • 1 Cup White Rice
  • 1 Cup Tomato Cooking Sauce
  • Lemon Juice
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Preparation

Step 1

*Add oil in pot and saute leeks and onion together until soft.
*Add rice and saute further for 2-3 minutes
*Add tomato cooking sauce and 2 cups water
*Add spices and stir
*Cook on low with lid closed until rice is ready
*Open lid and add lemon juice, then close lid and switch off the heat.
*Leave lid closed for 20 minutes, then serve.
