Snacks & Apps-Fresh Tomato Salsa

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs plum tomatoes, cored halved and seeded
  • 1/2 med red onion, minced
  • 1 jalapeno, ribs and seeds removed, minced
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 c cilantro, chopped
  • 2 TBSP lime juice (1 lime)
  • coarse salt
  • tortilla chips

Preparation

Step 1

Chop tomatoes in 1/4 inch pieces, transfer to med bowl. Add onion, pepper, garlic, cilantro and lime juice. Season with salt, mix to combine.

Let sit 15 minutes for flavors to meld.
