Ingredients
- 2 racks of baby back pork ribs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Bottle of barbecue sauce
Preparation
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large roasting pan, place the ribs and add 2 cups of water. Season the pork with salt and pepper. Snuggly cover with foil and bake for 2 1/2 hours.
At this point you will remove the pork from the oven and most of the water will have evaporated. Let the pork rest for 1 to 2 hours.
Reheat the oven to 350 degrees. As the oven warms, heat up your favorite barbecue sauce in a pan on the stovetop. Brush the pork ribs generously with the sauce. Bake in the oven, uncovered, for 10 minutes. Serve with a side of extra sauce.
Serve with fresh corn on the cob and mashed potatoes!
