Ingredients
- 1 jar (13 oz) cherry-pomegranate preserves
- 1/2 cup tart apple (Granny Smith), peeled, chopped
- 1/2 cup red onion, chopped
- 1/4 cup red wine
- 2 TBS white wine vinegar
- 1 TBS fresh ginger, peeled & grated
- 1 block (8 oz) cream cheese, softened
Preparation
Step 1
1. Combine all ingredients except cream cheese in a small saucepan; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 minutes. Uncover and increase heat to medium-heat. Cook 10-15 minutes or until most of liquid evaporates. Cool to room temperature.
2. Spoon over cheese spread and serve with assorted crackers and toasted bread.
Makes 6 servings. Each serving = 8 Weight Watchers points.
