Ingredients
- 2 medium cucumbers
- 3 TBS cider or white vinegar
- 1 TBS sugar
- 1 small red onion, sliced and broken into thin rings
- 3 TBS fresh dill, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
Step 1
1. Wash the cucumbers and partially remove the peel in lengthwise strips, leaving a little skin between strips. Thinly slice cucumber widthwise.
2. Place vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper in a bowl and whisk until sugar is dissolved. Add cucumber, onion, and dill; toss well.
3. Salad can be served immediately, but flavor will improve if it is allowed to sit for 10 minutes.
