Katonk (Pork)

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. GROUND PORK
  • 1 lb. ONION, chopped
  • 1/4 C. WATER
  • 1 tsp. SALT
  • 1/4 tsp. ALLSPICE
  • 1/8 tsp. GROUND CLOVES
  • Dash PEPPER

Preparation

Step 1

(1) Put pork, onion and water into a pot...Bring to a boil...Reduce heat and simmer for 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Stir the mixture with a whisk every so often while cooking.
(2) Remove from heat....let cool slightly. Using a whisk or mixer add the spices.
Cool completely in the refrigerator.
Skim fat off top before serving.
Serve with your favorite crackers.
