Mom's Terrific Carmel Corn (the best ever)

Ingredients

  • 2 cubes butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup white corn syrup
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 10 cups popped popcorn

Preparation

Step 1


Boil first 4 ingredients for 5 minutes and add soda (be careful it foams up and grows, use a large pan)

Mix in pop corn and spread into a 13 x 9 pan. Bake for 90 minutes stirring every 15 minutes. When done be sure to break up and stir until its cooled to ensure even coating of carmel
