Lemon Squares

Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 2 C flour
  • 1 C butter of oleo
  • 1/2 C powdered sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 4 T flour
  • 2 C sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 6 T lemon juice

Preparation

Step 1

Press dry ingreds into 9x12" pan and bake at 350 for 25 min or until delicately brown.

Mix eggs, sugar and baking powder until smooth and creamy. Add lemon juice and mix well. Pour over baked crust immediately out of oven and bake 28 more minutes (don't overbake)
Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cut into squares when cool.
