Spicy Cornbread Stuffing

This is a stuffing for those who like a bit of heat in their stuffing. It is a good blend of spices that give a great taste to a traditional holiday favorite.

Ingredients

  • 1 LB. Jimmy Dean Sausage
  • 14 Oz. Bag of Cornbread Stuffing
  • 1/4 C Finely Diced Celery
  • 1/4 C Finely Diced Bell Pepper
  • 1/4 C Finely Diced Onion
  • 1 Tsp. Greek Seasoning
  • 1/2 Tsp. Thyme
  • 1/2 Tsp. Oregano
  • 2 C Chicken Broth

Preparation

Step 1

Brown Sausage in a skillet and drain excess fat. Return Sausage to skillet and add Celery, Bell Pepper, and Onion. Sauté until vegetables are tender. Remove from heat. In a large bowl combine Stuffing with seasonings. Add Chicken Broth and mix well. Place in a 2Qt casserole and bake in a pre-heated 350 degree oven for 30 minutes.
