Cranberry Salad from Grandma Peters

This dish brings back memories of Thanksgivings in Iowa. It can be eaten just chilled or frozen and eaten later.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound cranberries
  • 1 pound small marshmallows
  • 1 pint cream, whipped
  • 1 can crushed pineapple (drained)
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Grind cranberries and stir in sugar. Let stand at least one hour. Stir marshmallows in whipped cream. Also let this stand one hour. Mix together and add pineapple.
