Pumpkin Pie Dessert

Ingredients

• 1 (29 oz) can pumpkin
• 1 cup sugar
• 3 tsp cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp salt
• 3 eggs
• 1 (12 oz) can evaporated milk
• 1 box yellow cake mix
• 2 cups chopped nuts
• 3/4 cup melted butter

Preparation

Step 1

Combine all ingredients except yellow cake mix, butter and nuts. Pour into a well greased 9x13-inch pan.
Spread dry yellow cake mix over pumpkin mixture. Sprinkle chopped nuts over top. Pour melted butter over nuts. Bake 50 to 60 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Let set and serve with Cool Whip or vanilla ice cream.
