Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons poultry seasoning
- 2 teaspoons sage
- 4 T. Montreal Chicken Seasoning
- 1 (15 pound) turkey, washed and patted dry
- 2 carrots, cut in chunks
- 1 onion, cut in chunks
- 2 stalks celery, cut in chunks
- 1 tablespoon flour
Preparation
Step 1
In a small bowl, combine, poultry seasoning, sage and Montreal Chicken Seasoning. Set aside. Rub butter all over and under skin of turkey. Sprinkle with seasonings outside and inside of turkey. Add chunks of carrots, onions, carrots and celery. Sprinkle with flour in oven roasting bag. Put turkey in bag on top of vegetables. Rub more butter over top of turkey. Place turkey in a sturdy roasting pan.
Bake turkey for 2 1/2 hours at 350 degrees.
