Ingredients
- Options:
- 1 can chickpeas, reserving 1 tbsp liquid, then drained and rinsed
- 1 can pumpkin
- 2 cloves garlic
- Juice of one lemon
- 1 heaping tbsp tahini
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp maple syrup
- 2 tsp fresh oregano
- salt and pepper
- 1-2 tbsp EVOO
- slash of water
- chopped oregano
- toasted chopped walnuts
- Siracha
Preparation
Step 1
Add chickpea liquid and garlic to a food processor and blend until chopped fine. Then add remaining ingredients. Blend until combined. Drizzle in EVOO until desired consistency. Add slash of water if you want it thinner.
I stirred mine with extra large chopped oregano and topped with walnuts. It would be good with a 1/2 tsp or so of Siracha.
