Ingredients
- 1 cup raw grated potatoes
- 1 cup leftover mashed potatoes
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tap baking powder
- 2 tap salt
- 2 egg, lightly beaten
- 1/4 cup (or so) milk
- Butter or Oil for frying
Preparation
Step 1
1.Place grated raw potatoes in clean cloth and twist to remove excess moisture
2. Whisk together flour, salt and baking powder
3. Combine flour mixture with raw potatoes, mashed potatoes and eggs
4. Add enough milk and mix to make a batter
5. Heavy skillet, over medium heat, add fat of choice, when fat at shimmer/smoke stage drop batter by TBS-full into hot pan, brown about 4 minutes each side.
