SCALLOPED POTATOES

  • 5 c. thinly pared sliced potatoes
  • 1 c. thinly sliced onions
  • 3 c. thin white sauce
  • WHITE SAUCE
  • 1 tb. butter
  • 1 tb. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • Pepper
  • shake of paprika

Preparation

Step 1

Arrange potatoes and onions in alternate layers in a 2 qt. coverd casserole. Pour white sauce over all. Bake in 400 deg. oven for 1 hour. Remove cover & bake 30 min. longer or until potatoes are tender.

WHITE SAUCE
Melt butter. Stir in flour, pepper & paprika. Stir until smooth. Gradually add milk. Cook until thickened.
