Coconut Baked Apples

Ingredients

  • 4 apples
  • 1/2 c chopped mac nuts
  • 1/2 c shredded coconut
  • 3 tbsp softened butter
  • 3 tbsp brown sugar
  • Melted chocolate

Preparation

Step 1

Cut the cores from each of the apples and cut a bottom so the apples can stand upright without rolling around. Combine the nuts, coconut, butter and sugar and stuff into each of the apples.

Stand apples in a baking dish and add 1/3 c water to the bottom of the pan. Bake at 350 degrees until tender, about 45 mins. Tent with foil if topping gets to browned. Drizzle with melted chocolate.
