Ingredients
- 1/3 cup fresh ( preferably home-grown ) tomatoes,
- coarsely chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh basil leaves, chopped
- ( or oregano, or Italian parsley )
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 1 Tablespoon crumbled Feta cheese
- sliced whole-grain bread
Preparation
Step 1
Combine the tomatoes, basil, olive oil, and Feta cheese. Use as a sandwich topping on slices of whole-grain bread. Pita bread may be used as well.
