Ingredients
- 1 lb broccolli
- 3 medium onions quartered
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 cup soft bread crumbs
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 / 3 oz pkg cream chees
- 1/4 cup flour
Preparation
Step 1
Cut up brocolli and cook till tender. Do the same with oinions. In another saucepan melt half of the butter. Blend in flour, salt and pepper. Add milk, cook stirring constantly, till thickened and bubbly. Remove from heat and blend in cream cheese. Place vegetables in 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. Pour sauce over mixture and gently mix. Top with cheese. Melt remaining butter and toss in crumbs. Sprinkle these on top of casserole. Cook at 350 till heated throught (40-50 minutes).
