Italian apple cake

Ingredients

  • 4 cups apples -- peeled and cubed
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons bakine soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup walnuts -- chopped

Preparation

Step 1

mix apples with sugar and let sit.

sift all the dry ingredients together

mix the eggs and butter and add this to the apple mixture, then add the dry ingredients

fold in raisins and nuts

spoon into greased and floured bunt pan

bake at 350 for 40-45 min until done
