Pomodoro Sauce (butter and tomato sauce)

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs plum tomatoes coursely chopped
  • 6 T butter
  • 1 med onion, peeled and cut in half
  • 4 T parmesan

Preparation

Step 1

Put first three ingredients in saucepan and simmer over a low hear until the toeatoes have reduced and separated from the butter. 20 - 40 min depending on the size of the pan. Remove from heat, remove onions. Toss with pasta and add parmesan.
