Mom's Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients

  • Use fresh or frozen broccoli, enough to cover 9 x 12 dish
  • 1-2 lb velveeta cheese
  • 16 oz Half & Half
  • Townhouse or Ritz crackers
  • 1-2 sticks of butter or margarine

Preparation

Step 1

Cook broccoli until soft

Heat half & half in the microwave with 1-2 pounds of velveeta. Melt cheese into milk.

Place broccoli into 9 x 12 pan and cover with cheese sauce. Salt and pepper broccoli cheese mixture.

Crush 2-3 sleeves of crackers while in the sleeves. Melt 2 sticks of butter in the microwave. Stir crackers into butter and top off casserole.

Bake for 30-45 minutes at 350 degrees.
