Ingredients
- 2 cups white vinegar
- 3 cups sugar
- Bring to a boil and set off heat.
- 8 cups finely sliced squash
- 2/3 cup salt
- 2 quarts water
- Let soak 1 hour. Drain. Don't rinse.
- 2 cups finely sliced bell pepper
- 2 cups finely sliced onion
- 1 small jar pimento ( chopped)
- 2 TBSP celery seed
- 2 TBSP mustard seed
- Put all the above igredients in vinegar. Bring to a boil then turn to a simmer while filling jars.
- HOT PEPPERS ARE OPTIONAL
- Seal jars.
