Ingredients
- 2 lbs of Swiss Chard with Stalks cut into 2" pieces
- 1 Cup of chopped Green Onions
- 1/4 Cup of Oleo (or Butter)
- 1 Medium Green Pepper chopped
- 1/4 Cup and 1 Tbsp of Lemon Juice
- 1/8 tsp of Pepper
- Pinch of Nutmeg
- 1/4 Cup of Cheese (your choice)
Preparation
Step 1
Saute Onion in Oleo in Large Skillet.
Add Stalks of Swiss Chard, Green Pepper, Lemon, Salt, Pepper, and nutmeg.
Reduce Heat and cover simmering for 15 minutes stirring occasionally.
Spoon into serving dish and sprinkle with Cheese if desired.
