Mom's Macaroni & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb mostaccioli (3 cups)
  • 5 tbsp butter or margarine
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 (14.5 oz) cans evaporated milk
  • 3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 cup parmesan cheese
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper

Preparation

Step 1

melt butter or margarine, blend in flour. Add evaporated milk & cook over low heat until slightly thick. Stir in cheeses, salt and pepper and heat until cheese melts. Combine sauce and drained pasta. Pour in greased 3 quart casserole. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees
