Robbie's Refrigerator Garlic Dill Pickles

Ingredients

  • 3 cucumbers, cut into spears
  • 1/4 garlic bulb, minced
  • 3/4 tsp. dill seed or 4 sprigs fresh dill weed
  • 3 cups water
  • 6 tsp. salt
  • 3 Tbs. sugar
  • 3/4 cup white vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Bring water, salt, sugar and vinegar to a boil. Remove from heat; cool.

Layer cucumbers, herbs, and garlic in jars (or containers). Pour cooled brine over top.

Refrigerate 24 hours.
