Perfect Peach Cobbler

This is the ultimate in cobbler. Crust can be used with any fruit:)

Ingredients

  • 1 stick butter
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 3/4 c milk
  • 1.5 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsb. cinnamon
  • 1 can (30 oz) sliced peaches in syrup

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°. Melt butter in 9x13 pan. Separate half cup sugar and all of cinnamon. Separate peaches and syrup. Mix 1 c sugar and all other dry ingredients in a bowl. Stir in milk and syrup from peaches. Pour batter over the top. Mix cinnamon and remaining sugar. Sprinkle over the top. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until top is golden brown.
