Ingredients
- 2 boxes Jiffy cornbread mixes
- 2 bags of navy soup beans
- a chuck of ham
- onion
- salt
- pepper
Preparation
Step 1
Pour beans in a dutch oven pan; cover with water and let set overnight. Two or three hours before you eat, cook the beans with onion, salt, pepper, and a chuck of ham. Watch out that it doesn’t boil dry; boil until the beans or tender. Cook cornbread as directed on box.
