Ingredients
- 8 c spaghetti sauce
- 3 lbs. roast beef, eye round
- 1 loaf Italian bread or 12 rolls
- 1 t salt
- 3/4 t black pepper
- Locatelli or parmesan cheese
Preparation
Step 1
Prepare your favorite sauce in large pot. Season beef with salt and pepper and brown on all sides. Add to the sauce and slow simmer 2 hrs. uncovered. Remove beef and left rest 15 minutes, wrapped in foil. Slice thin and serve on bread or rolls with extra sauce and grated cheese.
