Sauted Cabbage with Bacon and Red Onion

Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon
  • one sliced red onion
  • 1/2 head sliced cabbage
  • Spinach
  • Balsamic Vinegar

Preparation

Step 1

Cook bacon in skillet; set aside. Add a sliced red onion to the skillet. Cook over medium heat to caramelize, about 5 minutes. Set aside. Add a little oil and half a head of sliced cabbage. Cook about 8 minutes. Add several handfuls fresh spinach, cook 2 minutes more. Return onion to skillet. Drizzle with balsamic vinegar and sprinkle with crumbled bacon. Serve warm.
