Sauteed' Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 TBSP. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 TBSP. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. sugar
  • 2 TBSP. olive oil
  • 10 0z. mushrooms, quartered
  • 1 TBSP. unsalted butter
  • 1 garlic clove, chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Stir together lemon juice, soy sauce, and sugar. Heat a 12" heavy skillet over moderately high heat until very hot. Add oil, then saute mushrooms, stirring until golden brown, about 5 minutes. Add butter and garlic and saute, stirring until butter is absorbed. Add lemon mixture to mushrooms, stirring until butter is absorbed.
