Ingredients
- 2 T butter
- 3 cups chopped broccoli
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 1/2 cups uncooked long-grain rice
- 3 cups chicken broth
Preparation
Step 1
In a medium saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add broccoli and onion and cook, stirring frequently, for 3 minutes. Add rice, and cook, stirring constantly for 1 minute. Stir in both. Increase heat to medium-high, and bring mixture to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
