PEACH COBBLER (Fresh Peaches)

Ingredients

  • Enough pie crust for double crust in a 9x13-inch baking dish
  • 10 fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 11/4 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Extra butter, sugar and nutmeg to sprinkle on top of crust

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Press bottom crust into baking dish and bake for 10 minutes. Combine remaining ingredients and pour into baked crust. Cut remaining unbaked pie crust into strips and lay across top to create as lattice crust. Slice a few small pats of butter onto top of crust and lightly sprinkle with sugar and nutmeg. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 1 hour.
