Ingredients
- 1 lb asparagus
- 1 - 1 1/2 lb beef strips
- 1 T oil
- 2 lg sweet onions
- 1 t cornstarch
- 1/4 c sherry wine
- 3 T soy sauce
- 1/2 t sugar
- dash of hot pepper sauce
Preparation
Step 1
In skillet over medium-high heat, add oil and brown steak quickly. Remove. Slice asparagus into 1" pieces. Quarter onions, then slice. Combine onions, asparagus & sherry in skillet. Overe and cook 4 mins. Stir together soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar and hot sauce. Add this mix to skillet. Cook and stir until mixture thickens. Stir in steak and cook until heated. Serve with rice or noodles.
