Ingredients
- 10 lbs green tomatoes
- 6 large onions
- 6 green and red peppers mixed
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 4 cups sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1/2 tsp tumerick
- 2 tsp mustard seed
- 2 Tblsp celery seed
- 2 Tblsp salt
- 5 whole cloves
Preparation
Step 1
Let canning jars set with hot tap water until ready to use. Combine tomatoes, onions, peppers, and water in blender. Blend coarsely and drain. Mix remaining ingredients over med high heat until boiling. Add relish to syrup. Heat until it starts to simmer, then cook 3 minutes. Pour water out of jars and pour relish in. Cap and seal.
