Healthy PBJ sandwich with apple, cranberry and banana.

I just made this after stumbling across a picture online. The apple and slightly tart cranberry sauce give it a rich flavor, with sweetness coming from the banana.

Ingredients

  • Two slices whole wheat bread
  • 6 to 8 banana slices, thin.
  • Thin apple slices from a tart granny smith.
  • Peanut Butter

Preparation

Step 1

Spread thin layer of PB on inside of each slice of bread. Add other ingredients. Toast and serve.

Toast in a pan without butter for healthiest effect, but use butter for prettiest effect.
