Cheese Straws

Ingredients

• 1 pound extra sharp cheese or 1/2 extra sharp and 1/2 sharp
• 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper + more to taste
• 3 sticks margarine
• 4 cups flour

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Blend margarine and grated cheese together until smooth.

Add pepper and flour gradually. Use star attachment in extruder and turn out line on cookie sheet. Cut in 3-inch pieces and bake in 350°F oven for about 20 minutes.
