Orange Rolls

Ingredients

  • Orange mixture:
  • 5 and 1/2 eggs
  • 3 c. Luke warm water
  • 3 Tbsp yeast
  • 1 and 1/2 Tbsp salt
  • 1 c. Scant powdered milk
  • 1/2 c. Potato flakes
  • 1 c. Scant oil
  • 1 and 1/4 c. Sugar
  • 12-14 c. Flour
  • 2 lbs butter
  • 4 c. Sugar
  • 1 and 1/2 oranges grated.

Preparation

Step 1

Dissolve yeast in water. Combine orange mixture in separate bowl. In mixer add eggs, salt, oil, potatoes, milk, and sugar. Before adding flour add yeast mixture. Mix well. Add flour 1 c. At a time until dough is pulling from sides or not sticky to the touch. Let raise until doubles in size, roll out. Roll out. Add orange mixture. Cut and roll into individual rolls. Let double in size(almost) Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 min or until golden brown. Top with frosting if desired.
