Kansas City Potato Soup

Ingredients

  • 6-8 med. potatoes, diced
  • 1 C. celery, diced
  • 1 med. onion, diced
  • water
  • 1 stick margarine (optional)
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1 C. ham
  • 6 slices cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Add celery, onion and potatoes to a pot.
Cover with water and boil until done.
Do not drain.
Add margarine, evaporated milk, ham, cheese, salt and pepper.
Stir and let simmer until done.
