Ingredients
- Save for top of cake:
- 1 1/2 C sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 C flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 can crushed pineapple
- 1 C brown sugar mixed with 1/2 C chopped pecans
- Topping:
- 1 1/2 stick margarine
- 1/2 C sugar
- 1 C evaporated milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
Step 1
Cake:
Mix all together and pour in greased 11 3/4 x 7 1/2 x 1 3/4 inch baking dish. Sprinkle brown sugar/pecan mixture over top.
Topping:
Heat on top of stove until it comes to a boil. Pour over cake as soon as it is off the stove.
