Grilled Fish

Ingredients

  • 6 whole Lake Superior herring or rainbow
  • trout, about 8 oz. each, cleaned
  • 2 tbsp, extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat grill or broiler.
2. Brush fish with oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. To grill: place fish on grill and until they fell firm to the touch and flesh in just opaque. 2-3 minutes each side. To broil place fish on oiled broiler tray and broil 4-6 inches from broiler element until they are firm to the touch and flesh is just opaque, 2-3 minutes each side. Serves 6.
