Hungarian Cabbage with Noodles Recipe - Kaposzta Teszta

Ingredients

  • 1 large head cabbage, cored and shredded
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 8 ounces (2 sticks) butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 pound medium Hungarian egg noodles, cooked

Preparation

Step 1

In a large skillet or Dutch oven, saute cabbage and onion in butter until golden brown. Season with salt, pepper and sugar. Mix with cooked egg noodles. Adjust seasonings and serve hot.
