Vegetable Pasta Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 # fusilli pasta
  • 1 small party tray,cut vegetables:broccoli,cherry tomatoes,celery and carrots
  • 3/4 cup vinaigrette-style salad dressing
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup almonds, toasted and chopped

Preparation

Step 1

Cook the pasta according to packaging instruction. Drain, run under cold water, then drain again.

Cut the vegetables into 1/2-inch pieces, then toss into a large bowl with the cooled pasta.

Stir in the vinaigrette, then season to taste with salt and pepper.

Garnish with the almonds, and serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate for up to 24 hours.
