Hazelnut "Linzer" Cookies

Hazelnut "Linzer" Cookies are a super simple recipe to make! It is perfect for the holidays when you have lots of things to bake and you're running low on time.

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups hazelnuts
• 2 ounces salted butter, melted
• 2 ounces hazelnut syrup
• 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
• 18 ounce tube sugar cookie dough

Preparation

Step 1

Grind hazelnuts to produce 1 cup of hazelnut flour.

Combine butter, hazelnut syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg and hazelnuts with cookie dough

Bake according to tips on using packaged cookie dough.
