Jane's Tomato Bruschetta

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Italian Bread
  • 2 T. olive oil
  • 2 lg, ripe, Roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 T. basil, chopped
  • ground black pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 3/4 tsp. kosher salt

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Slice bread diagonally into 1/2" slices.
Brush with olive oil. Season with salt and pepper. Place sliced
Italia bread on baking sheet. Bake for 10 min. or until golden.
Combine tomatoes, garlic, basil, pepper, olive oil and salt in medium-
size bowl. Mix gently to combine. Serve on top of toasted bread slices.
